Cranberry Conserve 

  • 4 cups cranberries

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 cup raisins

  • 2-1/2 cups sugar

  • 1 orange, thinly sliced with skin and juice

  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Boil cranberries in water for 10 minutes. Combine raisins, sugar, orange and nuts, then add to cranberries. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes, taking care to not overcook. Mixture will seem juicy, but will thicken when it cools.
